"Ruben, what you doing?"
Ruben nuzzles his nose on Niall's neck, inhaling him deep and humming in approval. The sound is so deep, Niall feels it reverberating through Ruben's chest pressed to his back.
"I'm enjoying my pretty house husband," he kisses Niall's neck.
His hands move down Niall's sides, long fingers digging into the space between his ribs, feeling the air moving under skin and muscle, deep and trembling. Moving lower to grip at his waist and down to his ass, kneading the soft muscle. Niall mewls with the touch, the rough feel of calloused fingers on his bare skin.
"So pretty and domesticated."

Summary
When Ruben moves into their house, Niall’s childhood nightmares come rushing back. However, upon discovering Ruben's dark past and the abuse he suffered at the hands of his own father, Niall’s mind develops a dangerous coping mechanism: justification.
Now, Niall begins to see the assaults as the cry for help from a traumatized mind. Determined to save Ruben from his own demons, Niall accepts the suffering as a necessary sacrifice.

Summary
Ron Weasley dies during the Second War. Death comes to collect him but instead of finality, he offers a wager over a chess. If Ron wins, he may go back and change everything.
Ron wins and respawns as his six-year-old self.
Unfortunately, that self comes with war flashbacks, a front row seat to how badly everything went the first time, and the deeply unpleasant realisation that his entire family is basically walking into a slaughterhouse if he doesn’t intervene.
(or, Ron time travel fix it with loads of worldbuilding and a side of dimension travel for funsies.)
