This is a dream, Nam-gyu reminds himself, and while it does leave him feeling disappointed, he also feels emboldened to crane his neck forward and lick Su-bong’s cheek. He’d like to kiss him, but he’s sure Su-bong wouldn’t appreciate a cat’s tongue touching his lips. This is the next best thing.
The giggle Su-bong lets out is gorgeous and so, so close to Nam-gyu’s ears. “Do you like me, Jagiya?”
Nam-gyu responds by licking his cheek again. Yes. I love you.

“You can’t be,” Thanos says, pawing at the sheets beneath him as if seeking escape. He looks really scared. It’s throwing Namgyu off. “You can’t…you’re not- What is this? What’s happening?”
“Thanos?” Namgyu asks.
Thanos’s eyes widen. “What?”
Shit. Something kind of fucked up must be happening. “You’re Thanos,” Namgyu says, not feeling all that sure of himself.
Thanos shakes his head. The hands still pawing at the sheets are trembling. “What are you talking about? No I’m not.”
Something really fucked up must be happening. “Then who are you?”
“Choi Subong.”
Fuck. Something super fucking fucked up is happening.

The other shakes his head. "My mother used to do it." Deep breath. "But she can't anymore."
Josh leans with his forearms on the doorframe. Using the kindest, less judging tone he can make, "Why can't you go grocery shopping?"
Very deep breath, and his flannel pants are slightly shaking. "I have agoraphobia."
Josh blinks.
Steps inside for a moment to get his phone. "Do you have a list?"
