"It's not just some cute shit they do. When they're hurt, or when someone they..." she paused, choosing her words carefully, "someone they care about is hurt, they purr at specific frequencies. Helps with pain, healing, that kind of thing. Dad hasn't stopped since you got here."

Summary
In the aftermath of Striker's attack and Stolas' hospitalization, Stolas and Blitzø each are not okay. Stolas is despondent with the realization that Blitzø perhaps does not care for him. Blitzø realizes (even if he won't admit it to himself) that maybe he does care for Stolas after all.
