It had always just been him and Jonathan—a quiet, two-person world built out of hand-me-down clothes and shared snickers across rooms. And when Mike came barreling into his life, Nancy had come with him, filling that space he didn’t even know was open easily, naturally—sister enough that Will never thought to question it, never lingered on the idea of what having one might mean.

Summary
Will was caught again.
Caught between the present and a pleasant memory.
His body is swaying, back and forth. His tummy feels weightless, the way they all tell you it feels on a rollercoaster. He isn’t quite big enough for that yet, but he’s sure this is how it feels. His eyes are pinned to the ground, watching it disappear and reappear behind his pumping legs. How high could he get on this swing? How high until his teacher tells him to slow down? He feels like he’s much higher than he actually is. He was so little, so gentle back then.
There’s a blur of someone hopping on the swing next to him. Someone just as small, just as gentle.
He looks up, and the boy is already smiling at him.
“Do you wanna be friends?”
Logline: After the fight at MAC-Z, with his friends...with Mike still in danger, Will finds it in himself to fight.

Summary
In Mike’s defense, Will should know by now not to leave him alone for an extended period of time.
Yeah, maybe Mike is snooping around his room a little bit. But he’s bored, okay? Will left to tell his mom something or another ten minutes ago. And it’s not like Mike is digging through his drawers or anything— he’s only using resources available to the naked eye. Is that really snooping? He doesn’t think so.

Professor Keating was aware of just how special his connection with his students was. He knew they saw him not only as a teacher but also a mentor, and he tried his best to rise up to the task. He knew he was out of his depth, however, when a pair of his best students confessed to him what they felt for each other.
This, he was not equipped to handle. He could only keep their secrets and hope.

It's almost pathetic, this facsimile of wholesome family values that House has created in his mind. That he can’t help but crave, so long as it’s Wilson who was his pretty little house-wife. House would even take him zonked out on Quaaludes if it meant having this but more.
Still, this is not the first time this story has been told. There are no ways else to tell it except to tell it: House will carry this secret to his grave.

He’d stared at Will without really seeing him, so caught up in his own thoughts—a constant, monotonous beat of oh my God, I’m alive. Oh my God, Will has powers. Oh my God, he saved me.

Oh my God, he’s beautiful.
The thought had stopped him short, had landed with a soft and devastating clarity.
Beautiful.
That single word had broken something open within him, something he’d spent years reinforcing with lock and chain and prayer and denial.
After Will saves Mike from the demogorgon at the MAC-Z, Mike finally lets himself acknowledge a truth he's been running from for years:
He is in love with Will Byers.
Now all Mike has to do is come to terms with that truth—especially when Joyce sees it too.
