Summary
After the destruction of Adaptus, what little remained of Pharma's spark is set adrift, trapped in a limbo state where he is neither alive nor capable of passing on to the Afterspark. Only in places rife with death and strife, with the bountiful congregation of released spark energy to leech off of, is he really able to manifest in the physical plane in the form of a ghost at all.
To him, millions of years pass by in a minuscule fraction of the time that passes in reality. He makes the best of what he can; making a name for himself as a herald of death and causing a little bit of chaos along the way. He does a little bit of good, too.

After Thundercracker's defection to the Autobots, he slowly settled into the strange new environment within the Ark. He eventually found love with the scientist (and fellow former Decepticon) Jetfire.
