With a sigh, Cross carefully clicked open the locket, greeted with the faces of his former friends and family. He himself smiled up to Cross, much younger and untouched by grief. It was blinding, and it spoke volumes of what once was. Cross could only give back a somber gaze.
He’ll never know that happiness again.

Summary
Kris Dreemurr è unə adolescente come tanti; vive con sua madre, va a scuola, ed è l'unicə umano in un paesello abitato da mostri. Un mattino di Settembre, però, si sveglia con ventiquattro voci in testa. Incontra voci come Volontà, che lə spinge a perseverare nonostante tutto; Retorica, che coglie ogni occasione per discutere, spesso di concetti politici; Chiaroscuro, l'istinto di sopravvivenza che teme tutto e tutti, ma soprattutto la fine del mondo. Come può peggiorare la situazione? Il dover fare un progetto scolastico con Susie, la nuova studentessa e bulla della classe.
Prima che Kris possa adattarsi a questa nuova realtà, ləi e Susie, che dovevano prendere del gesso per la lavagna, precipitano nel vuoto di un armadio abbandonato. Ed è così che inizia una grande avventura; un'avventura piena di nuovi amici, simpatici nemici, e una nuova occasione per ricominciare.
Dopottutto, nonostante tutto, Kris è ancora sè stessə.

Ze would like to believe that, all things considered, he’s been a pretty average guy for a majority of his life. He’s gone through school, had a job, did stupid shit with friends on late nights of sneaking out— the usual, the typical. And that’s how it had been. His life had been as simple as the composition of a bag of potato chips, really. Those bags have, like… three ingredients tops, right?
The past few months, though, have turned that completely onto his head with an extra loud “fuck you” and a banana peel in his walkway. All because of one stupid, irritating entity that came crashing into his world, making it everyone’s problem. One stupid entity with one arm, one leg, and no head has flipped his entire existence upside down, in the most annoying ways possible.

Ze can’t sleep. It leads to a lot of thinking about his current life and his relationship with one very specific, irritating entity.

“You’re not welcome.” Ze confirms. Then, “..Stop getting in the bed.”
“Awe, Ze.” Regect says through a yawn, pointedly ignoring him, getting in the bed, “I knew you liked me. Somewhere. In there. Deep, deep down.”

Ze has been refusing to sleep since he's come back. Obviously, the only solution is for all three of them to sleep in the same room. Regect doesn't know what to do with himself.

Summary
Tommy is a hero. His name is Avian, the protege of the great hero Dream, or Breakneck as he's known to the public. When he wakes up alone in a cell after a battle he braces himself for the worst, Dream had taught him all about the techniques that the villains known as SBI might use to get information out of him.
But he gets none of that, they're kind, they're sympathetic to his situation. Aside from Siren, he was a jerk. But the other two don't seem to want to hurt him like Dream had promised they would, like Dream had prepared him for. It was strange.
He keeps looking for a chance to escape, to run back to where he belonged. but they kept him locked up tightly.
But he had an advantage, he was immune to Siren's abilities, better yet they didn't realize. He could resist the orders they relied on to keep him there.
But as he searched for an opportunity, he felt himself feeling more at home in the villain's base than he ever had at his own home, in the hero tower.
And eventually, he finds that he doesn't want to leave, they've treated him better than Dream ever did. But he's conflicted. At least until he makes a mistake that should be his downfall, but instead, it shows him where he belongs.
