There is no one who loves animals more than a person that embodies WWE, otherwise known as 'White Woman Energy'. That doesn't mean that the WWE always leads to, you know, wanting to have dirty no room for jesus time with said animal, but werewolves are always the exception, never the reason. Or something like that; if one enjoys reading a book about idiocy, people being treated like human beings even if they do not seem that way, and just general caring for someone that, while cannot always verbalize their needs, they LEARNED how to work with one another, read away. Don't let the word count be something that detours you, or even the fandom. You do not need to know anything about anything to read this.

The ice spreading down Dean’s spine makes him shiver.
“I suppose you could say I’m your guardian angel,” the man murmurs. His breath fogs pale between them. All of him is unnaturally warm, like Dean’s touching somebody with the sun sewn up beneath their skin. “I have known you, Dean Winchester, for a very long time.”

Summary
Three weeks ago, Dean woke up in a pine box. He thought dealing with the nightmares was going to be the most difficult part of his new life after Hell, but at least they were something he could understand. Something he could deal with. Something he deserved.
Then he began having agonizing visions of crucifixion. Wounds appeared on his body out of nowhere. Wounds that refused to heal and coated his skin with the sickly sweet smell of roses.
Stigmata are said to be the marks of saints, but Dean is not a saint and the wounds are only the beginning.

The fact that I, only just now, found this book might be one of the largest tragedies that mightve come to be—third only to the death of the righteous man, and the fact that this book doesnt havr a fully completed second book, fair warning.
Religious imagery has always been something that I've been drawn to, but this? This makes me want to find one of the few bibles scattered around my house—and not the KJV—and read it. Cover to cover, and maybe it's not in the way that my family would enjoy it to be, and maybe it's not in a way that the book originally intended, but it would be read. And possibly cherished, certainly studied, and most definitely respected.
A good read that came to me after days of being listless, which I more than sorely recommend. All of my longer written bookmark summaries are on this level; though this one might be on its own level, beyond that of which even I could achieve at writing. Bravo!

Maybe I have a thing for 'crack fic, but slightly serious, but really? it's just writing on a line of code' type writing, with so many pop culture references that I looked like that one Leonardo DiCaprio gif while reading this all in one short setting, that it was hard for me to put down. Literally. I fear that I might become obsessed with this style of writing, and that my own 'dark and broody' style will quickly morph into this. Not like it's a baddd thing, but you know, cultivating yourself as this serious person is /hard/, whenever you just truly want to write stupid crack things with serious character.
But seriously, this is an amazing book. One of the books of all times, actually, if I do say so myself. If you want to read a book that really just encompasses the feeling of 'two and a half braincells bounce off of walls, and unfortunately none of the main protags has even an 1/8th of one' read this. If you enjoy petty bitches being petty for the hell of it, read it. And, especially, if crack is right up your alley, Read this. A touch different of what's currently on my recc, but honestly, this is the type of things that I read on a daily, though a lot less well written.
