Summary
Two years ago, at a club in New York City, two strangers shared a night together. Their judgements were clouded by alcohol, and both tried to ignore it after it was over. Time has faded them from one another's minds, but nothing can fully erase what happened that night.
When Bryce joins season 8 of Love Island, he is struck by just how much his cast member, Zach, reminds him of the man from that night.
The memory that lives in Bryce's mind due to his struggles with his identity and sexuality. Something that he tried so desperately to forget is now brought to the forefront like a wound that never really healed, and on a dating show of all places.

“Well, can’t say I’m surprised this ain’t common knowledge,” Butcher muses. “People find out all it’d take to subdue you is one good bite to the throat, you’d be outta the game faster than you can say mating bite.”
“It wouldn’t take, you brainless gorilla, I’m the strongest supe alive, you think anyone could control me like that?”
Butcher chuckles and retightens his grip. “Our positions here seem to say otherwise, eh?”
Homelander just shakes his head, clearly adamant on this, hissing quietly. “It doesn’t fucking take.”
“Guess we’ll just have to find out, huh?”
It’s the work of a second, a flash of movement before his teeth are buried in Homelander’s throat, crunching through skin and muscle like tissue paper, blood and mating fluid flooding his mouth in a rush.
Homelander is tilting his head to the side. It takes Butcher a minute to realize the ringing in his ears isn’t the rushing of his blood but something else, something softer.
It’s purring. Homelander is purring.
Butcher startles backwards, falling onto his ass.
“What,” Homelander coughs, reaching up to touch the still bleeding mark at his throat. “What the fuck did you do?”

Summary
After two months of hiding it seems the sun is finally returning to normal and the visitors, unable to handle the temperature change, are rapidly dying off. With it being safe to return outside the homeowner’s guests set out to return to their lives. For the first time since the “apocalypse” he finds himself alone and oddly enough the man finds that he no longer enjoys the solitude that he once craved. Eager for something familiar, he decides to open his home to guests again. The homeowner quickly learns to be careful what you wish for when a familiar pale visitor returns, this time as his new roommate.
