“I owe you one,” Leon murmured, suddenly aware of the fingers that were still brushing against his lips.
It had been… too long since the last time the American agent had experienced intimacy of any sort— platonic or otherwise. There were certainly better times, and absolutely better places, but Leon still found himself pressing a kiss to the merchant's fingers. They were rough, the taste of gunpowder lingering.
"Stranger…" the merchant whispered, tracing the younger man's lips until his hand moved to cup Leon's cheek. "You sure about this?"

They’d met so many times over the years, drifting in and out of each other’s lives like the moon and the sun, only sometimes destined to be in the same sky together. There had always been some inescapable pull towards the other man; at times Leon felt as though he were slowly orbiting closer and closer, drawn in nearer on each rotation.
And now he was dying. He knew it in his bones, could see it in the black splotches on his hands and the way his veins ran black at his wrists. He was tired. Summary
In a way, Piers had two first meetings with Leon S. Kennedy. Only for the first one of those he had no idea who he was with was actually Leon S. Kennedy, the man whose achievements were absolutely legendary amongst anyone who knew about the B.O.W.s and was a part of this ongoing war against them. He’d heard the stories, he’d idolized the man with the other new BSAA recruits, and if he’d known the gorgeous stranger hitting on him was actually Leon he would’ve probably ended up so tongue-tied they wouldn’t have gotten anywhere.
That is how it started, anyway. The journey itself was much, much longer. And worth every single step.

Summary
Leon rests his eyes as he sits in the open door of a BSAA van, head hanging low. He’s exhausted down to his very bones, pain and aches radiating from every muscle in his body.
He’s getting too old for this shit.
Heavy footsteps come closer, but Leon is more than happy to ignore them until a gruff, familiar voice accompanies them.
“Leon, there you are.”
Leon opens his pale blue eyes just as the man stops in front of him. Leon takes in the latter’s appearance, as it’s been a while since they last met.
Chris Redfield.
Leon huffs and smiles tiredly as he takes in the older man’s gruff features. “That should be my line. Chris Redfield, always fashionably late to the party. You missed out on all the fun,” says Leon with amusement.
