Summary
Lune and Gustave juggle their feelings for each other during the first part of Expedition 33. The canon divergence is that this the real world: Lumiere is a version of Paris that got blasted into the Mediterranean Sea during the Fracture in the early 20th Century. The rest of France is shielded from the outside world by a bubble created by the Paintress's magic.

Summary
[U]nfortunately, not wanting to see her former lover right now isn’t a good enough reason to leave him to die in a rock. Damn it. She grasps his wrist with both hands and pulls.
When something gives just enough for her to lose her balance, it all turns so much more mundane than she always thought it would be. She has envisioned meeting Gale again, more than once. In all those fantasies, she is successful, in control. Gracious, but obviously better off without him. What she certainly didn’t envision was falling flat on her arse and spluttering in the resulting cloud of dust.
That he is on the ground next to her with little more grace to recommend him is only a mild consolation until his eyes fix on her and she sees all blood drain from his face.
“Ezra.”
***
Seven years ago, Gale left Ezra behind to pursue his calling. Now, she would argue she got the better deal. At least she doesn't have to rely on her ex for a steady supply of magical artifacts to avoid becoming a world-ending disaster.

Summary
“She’d thought it would be different now. That the fear haunting her would fade along with her humanity. That hunger would bring clarity. Power. Certainty.
And yet, here she was. Still hiding.
Always hiding.”
A few months. That was all it took to turn from saviour to fugitive, hero to villain. Tav is trapped between two worlds—no longer fully human, but not yet the illithid she was meant to become.
Not that it matters. The city she died for now speaks her name in fear, hunting what’s left of the illithid with Tav as the grand prize.
Defeat seems certain. Surrender, inevitable.
…That is, until a former ally finds her—and, against all odds, chooses mercy.
In that moment, Tav sees the truth she hadn’t been prepared to admit: survival won’t come from goodness or secrecy. It will take help. Rolan’s help.
If he’s even willing to give it.

Summary
It’d only taken one time of Tav trying to keep pace with Minsc while out drinking for her to confess all of her secrets. Thankfully, she didn’t keep many. But she did keep one, tucked away next to her heart. Feelings for a tiefling with eyes of fire, the flames shifting in the evening light. She could feel the warmth of them even now, heating her ribs before sinking lower into her gut to cool alongside her guilt. Tav hadn’t seen Zevlor since the day they fought the elder brain.
A month after her great victory Tav is walking with Scratch and runs into the person she is most afraid, and most desperate to see.
