He takes off his sunglasses; now Hyunjin can see his eyes. Hyunjin has always liked Seungmin’s eyes, how sincere his gaze is.
Hyunjin is frozen. “Do you want a different server?”
And here, Seungmin’s mouth flattens into a frown. “No,” he snaps, harsh. “I’m a normal paying customer. Treat me the way you’d treat anyone else.”
[Hyunjin is a part-time waiter; Seungmin is an idol. Seven years later, they meet again on a Wednesday at the Nine & Dine.]

Minho yelps the moment he spots them.
“What are—How did you get into my house? Are those cats?”
“Kittens,” Hyunjin corrects, which still does not explain how he got into the apartment.
“Three of them, specifically,” says Jisung. He’s sitting on the couch, two of them in his arms and one meowing playfully on the top of his head. Minho fights with himself, because the kittens really are cute, but he can't admit that to these two and subsequently permit their act of breaking-and-entering. “We got them for you as a gift. You know, because you're sad?”
“I am not sad.”
For reference, Minho is not a very good liar.

Jisung would've done anything to escape from his old friends. Them going missing in a strange forest wasn't his idea, and it wasn't his idea to go inside that same forest with seven other students. And it definitely wasn't his idea to fall in love with one of them.

Jisung was seeing it alright. He was seeing all of it. His calm face with a nose bridge chiseled by the gods. His confidence so nonchalant it was almost unnoticeable. His absolute perfectness and annoyingly fun-loving yet blunt personality. What an asshole.

He tried to read any emotions in Minho's expression as he turned to him, but he was only seeing confusion. His fingers were fiddling with the fur surrounding his ears and he had an eyebrow raised at Jisung.
“I’m sorry, I was adjusting my earmuffs. What was that?” Minho looked back at him, a palm still resting on the muffs. His eyes gleamed with the familiar sparkle and his face adorned a slight pout.
