The disgusted squawking and shrieking that erupted from the others just to morph into teasing laughter. Hooting and hollering when Kai was bold enough to seek revenge by kissing him back on the mouth.
Everything was so beautiful when they were unaware of the end.

Kai frowned again. “It’s just so weird. I dunno…” Kai chewed on his lower lip thoughtfully. “Soobin…maybe…I don’t know, well, I don’t know if you should go out tonight.”
And that made Soobin frown. He maybe wasn’t going to be Beomgyu’s wingman, but he was still going to be there for moral support! Well…he’d be there for moral support until he found someone to dick him down. But that was no reason for him not to go!
“It’s just,” Kai rushed to explain. “I don’t know…the leaves are never wrong, but this is just so out there.”
“Is it possible you’re just interpreting it wrong?” Beomgyu cocked his head to the side as he packed his little travel makeup bag away. Since he was trying to impress Taehyun he’d agreed to be their DD and that meant he’d also signed on to be the Mom Friend for the night which came with the unfortunate task of being the single bag bringer among the three of them.
“Maybe,” Kai squeaked out. That didn’t exactly give Soobin a vote of confidence.
“When you say weird, what does that mean?”

His shoulders are bare, and that's where the photo cuts off, so who knows what's happening beneath that. His hair splays across the pillow beneath his head, and his eyes are half-lidded, mouth ajar, like he's just so comfortable that he can't help it. One arm is raised to take the photo, and the other lays delicately above him, fingers curled loosely beside his head.
"What the fuck," Soobin whimpers.
