Summary
Izuku Midoriya. The middle school dropout after the sludge villain incident. Worthless Deku. He never meant to make it as far as he did, and yet, he was still holding on for something. Anything. All Might had told him his answer, so what was the point anymore? It was like screaming for help in a soundproof room, hoping someone would come to his aid.
He’d tried a year ago. He’d tried to be a hero that day, and the world made it abundantly clear he was never going to amount to anything. As soon as the sludge villain incident went viral on the news, his school caught wind of it. They’d used the excuse that he’d pushed Bakugou into the villain's path, just to get a reason to expel him. To rid him of their roster and clean their dirtied slate.
Aldera had doomed him.

Summary
“Shit”, he muttered, quickly putting pressure on the wound while reaching for his first aid kit. The body in his arms moved slightly, and Lantern raised his head to look at him.
“Shou– ta?” rasped a quiet, high pitched, and scared voice. Shouta froze. How did Lantern know his name? Scratch that, how young was Lantern? That voice didn’t belong to a man at all. Gently, with his free hand, he pulled the hood and mask off. Oily blackish-green curls sprung out, flattened but not discouraged. The freckles stood out starkly on his pale skin, and the once bright viridian eyes were now muted.
In his arms was Izuku Midoriya. The elusive vigilante. Lantern.
"Kid?"

Summary
Letting his head lean back against the glass, Shouta sighed tiredly. A soft chuckle from across the train sounded, and he glanced over, not bothering to move his head. A middle-aged woman with dull green eyes sat nearest to the seat. “Rough night?” she asked, her voice hoarse as if she’d not spoken in some time.
A tired smile crept onto Shouta’s face as he brought his head up. “Yeah, you could say that.” Taking in the stout woman’s appearance once again, he could note just how terrible she looked as well. Her hair was a matted dark green, and her wrinkled work clothes indicated she’d just gotten off a long shift at the hospital. The nurse across the train smiled tiredly, the dark circles under her eyes contrasting her deathly pale skin. Her makeup was smudged around the corners of her eyes, and even so, the unnatural blush seemed too dark for her face.
“Are… Rough night for you too?” he asked, watching as her face crumpled in defeat.
Or: Katsuki had really fucked up this time- Izuku was gone now, Inko was angry with him, and his mother? Furious doesn't even describe it. A series of events that leaves him in pieces for Tsukauchi, Aizawa, Yamada, and Manual to pick up.
