Taehyun shakes his head a little, “Don’t…I know you’re not ready, hyung. If I’m being honest, I don’t think I am either. But that’s just the thing,” he exhales shakily, “how long are we going to let these strings define us? How much more suffering for something most people will never see, let alone understand?”
His eyes burn as the words burrow into his skin, sharp and precise, cutting all the way down to his bones until he has no hope of ignoring them.
“I don’t know, Taehyun-ah,” his voice breaks, “does grief ever have an ending? Is that even something you can let go of?”

Summary
It's Halloween and Beomgyu's costume is every vampire stereotype in one: the cape, the plastic fangs he got off the internet and blood red contacts in his eyes. Beomgyu had even dusted both him and his real living vampire boyfriend with sparkly highlighter after their Twilight movie marathon last week.
Taehyun is fine with it. It's actually quite cute seeing his boyfriend be so eager to match him, but it makes Taehyun wonder what all of this is for. He promises Taehyun it's a show of solidarity, a couples costume of sort, but whatever false pretence he feigns is broken when Beomgyu finally asks, "Will you ever turn me into a real vampire, Hyunie?"
Or
Beomgyu is Taehyun's human boyfriend and the two discuss the possibility of forever after Beomgyu has one too many cocktails. It's fluffier than it sounds.

Summary
Sam finishes the trials, expecting to die. Instead, he gets a life that sounds idyllic - the demons locked away, the angels gone (mostly), and Dean by his side.
All he has to worry about is the various monsters attempting to fill the power vacuum; a too-empty bunker; his own deteriorating mental health; Dean’s dive back into alcoholism; and not getting enough sleep (even for him). Oh yeah, and that pesky fact that his dreams are starting to seem a little bit too much like visions. He can handle it. He can.
(Sometimes he can’t.)
If this is healing, Sam sure doesn’t want to know what deterioration looks like.
