Neuvillette cleared his throat, his gaze averting. “Ah. My apologies. It was not my intention to worry you. The judge meant to preside over this trial had a shortcoming, and I was the only one available to step in. It couldn’t wait either—again, my apologies.” He awkwardly adjusted his clothes. After a moment of guarded silence, he added, “I had intended to… propose something to you, but I fear it must be postponed, if that is amenable to you.”
Concern slipped away from Wriothesley’s face, replaced by warm curiosity and a sly curve of his lips. He stepped closer, eyes glinting with mischief. “Propose something? What, like a date?”
A faint stammer escaped before Neuvillette could stop himself. “N-Not quite. But something like that, yes.”
Neuvillette prepares a little surprise for Wriothesley but his work gets in the way.

Summary
The Iudex touched the letter sitting on the inner breast pocket of his robes, his thoughts weighed down by worry. Sigewinne had written he needed not fret over the duke’s condition, assuring him it was likely no more than a seasonal cold, that she only requested his presence for persuasion purposes.
Wriothesley gets sick but he is stubborn. So Sigewinne summons the only man capable of commanding the Warden of Fortress Meropide.

Summary
His voice cracks, breaks. “The galaxy owes us this one thing. Just one goddamn thing.”
Kaidan wishes that were true. He sits down in solidarity, the back of his aching head pressed against the panel that separates the cockpit, and listens to Joker breathe through his pain, bitterly reminding himself that the galaxy doesn’t owe them a single goddamn thing. Not really. That dotted line had always been a thinly veiled sacrifice.

Summary
An old Inazuman proverb says: “Though the fool waits, the day does not”.
Actually, that proverb might not have actually come from Inazuma – much unlike Monsieur Neuvillette’s handsome friend whom he met during the previous year’s Fontinalia Festival – and whom he strangely forgot to mention to Wriothesley this entire time.
Wriothesley ends up accompanying the two on Mr. Ayato’s sightseeing tour, and quickly realizes that for *some* reason, he can’t stand him. No, he’s not jealous. That’d be ridiculous! He’s far too old for that. It’s not like he’s even in love with Neuvillette, or—
Okay, fine. He might be in love with him. So, what now? He’s got his own reasons not to confess, but is he just supposed to sit there and watch that sleazeball steal his man? And what kind of FREAK adds tapioca to his tea, anyway?!Well, as another Inazuman proverb would say: “The words unspoken leave the commissioner wishing some people would just get a room and stop taking their sexual frustration out on him”.

Summary
“If you know about a vishap’s cycle, you know marginally less than I do. I have had to draw my own conclusions from experience and research.” Neuvillette folds his hands across his lap. Not for the first time, he desperately wishes there were more dragons in the world. “It is an overwhelming surge of instincts every few months. It compels me to nest, to protect what is mine, and mostly to… to… breed," he grits out.
Wriothesley licks his lips. His breath wavers. Neuvillette waits for him to compose his polite rejection of their entire relationship.
“You want me to breed you, sweetheart?”
Neuvillette will swear to his dying breath that he is not the one that pounces.
OR: Wriothesley breeds Neuvillette so hard he unlearns shame.
