Summary
“He—He had a nightmare,” Buck says. Eddie can tell he’s tugging at his hair. “He was asleep for barely an hour, and now he won’t stop crying. The thunder scares him.”
Before Eddie can ever answer, Theo’s cries interrupt him. His voice wails out a sad, “EDDIE!”
Eddie pauses. “Did he just say my name?”
On the other line, Buck’s breath hitches. Eddie pulls the comforter off himself, already springing into action to find his shoes and car keys.
Still, Buck doesn’t reply. Theo’s sobs are even more earsplitting through the phone. “I want EDDIE!”
“He’s—” Buck sucks in a breath. “He’s asking for you.”
OR: Theo can’t sleep because of the storm. Buck calls Eddie and Christopher for their help.

Summary
“Hey, hey. What's wrong?”
“Um,” his voice cracks, small and helpless. “I don’t feel good,” he whispers.
The tears start to fall and he forces himself to look away once again. Finally saying it out loud makes it feel officially real and his heart skips a beat at the thought that he might actually be sick. He hasn’t been sick in years, what if it’s bad because his immune system hasn’t had to defend itself from the stomach flu in so long? Tremors travel through his limbs and his belly turns. He can feel his panic building.
The hand on Buck's shoulder moves to his upper back. “Alright,” Eddie says. “What do you need?”
Or
Buck's emetophobia strikes up one night when he's sleeping on the Diaz's couch. Eddie is there to take care of him.

Buck calls Eddie crying because of a bittersweet Bluey episode he and Theo were watching. Eddie, upon hearing that Buck is crying, rushes to Buck, assuming that something must be terribly wrong. Silly feelings ensue.
