Rodimus thinks he messed up his old life in Iacon, so his solution? Move to a secluded town with your abusive boyfriend! Luckily they move to the small town of Lost Light and soon enough everybody in the small town is starting to care for Rodimus, especially a handsome sheriff. Maybe with a lot of luck and some help, Rodimus will confront his past and get a lover who loves and cherishes him.

Rodimus snorted. “You’re stupid if you don’t. You’re good to me.”
OR;
The one thing Rodimus wants more than anything else is to make his crew happy aboard the Lost Light. Actually, that's the second thing he wants. The first is his co-captain—professionally, of course. Megatron isn't much better. His spark tells him to make Rodimus the happiest mech who's ever lived and his frame says to just be satisfied with what he's got. His processor says to bash his helm in until he doesn't think about it anymore.
Both make it everybody else's problem.
