    Ryland Grace and Rocky arrived at Erid almost 7 months ago, and Grace is far more lonely than he expected to be. Rocky is worried for him, but nothing can make up for the lack of human connection.

    A group of Eridians patrolling space discover an odd looking ship, labeled SM-13, passing their planet, and discover a human inside. A man.

    This man doesn’t know how he got here, only that the last he remembered, he was in a blood ocean facing certain death.

    Grace must break a traumatized man out of his shell, while also working through his own repressed trauma.

    Or: Two touch starved men must communicate their needs, work through their trauma, and build a domestic life on an alien planet.

    “Yeah, but… it’s nice. I have just about anything I could ever ask for. And back on Earth, well… there’s nothing for me there now.”

    A new human, inexplicably, shows up on Erid, and Ryland Grace has to remember how to be a good host. Considering he hasn’t seen another human in about a decade, and this human is both distractingly handsome and incredibly traumatized, it’s safe to say that this might be a challenge… especially with Ryland still working through his own issues, even all these years later.

    But he saved the entire world, so, how hard could it be to save one more man?

    Post BOFA - everyone lives.
    The company, led by Oin, agree to sequester Bilbo away in a room deep in the mountain so that he can rest and heal after the battle. They all (including Bilbo) hope he will be pardoned and allowed to remain in the mountain once Thorin is healed and his mind is clear of the gold sickness. However, being dwarves, none of them really know how to tactfully mention it. Thorin assumes Bilbo has returned to the Shire and besides privately sending letters that are never returned, attempts to push the broken friendship and heart ache from his mind by not mentioning Bilbo either. Meanwhile Bilbo is healing, resting and using a handy ring to live unseen in the mountain. Both of them crave a reunion and a chance to right the wrongs they've committed...

    “If I die, you have to get my body out of here,” the man pleaded, but Grace had to go. His oxygen was out. The guy would be dead in six minutes. “You have to get me out, even if I’m dead. Hey!”

    “Just hold on!” Grace propelled himself through zero gravity, away from the radio.

    “Don’t leave me here-!” The roar echoed through the ship halls.
