    Summary

    An alternate version of the rapidly devolving shitshow that is post-Kripke-era supernatural, with more cool girls who deserved to live, more cool villains who deserved to be amazing and well-developed, more queerness and more Endverse, because I said so. Basically, I vowed to myself that I would write a good timeline version of season 7 where Godstiel got to be the main villain, and it spiralled from there!!

    Also important to note!! The later parts of this fic won’t make any sense without the first! It’s all one big story, I only split it up to prevent tags from getting insane and to simulate the season arc structure of the original show :)

Naturally, she ends up examining them to death, while working tirelessly to ensure that she gets the chance to hash out exactly where the two of them stand these days.

    Roughly half the fic is composed of flashbacks that take place during the main BtVS series.

    oh my GOD I love this story so much. genuinely this is what made me want to start reading fanfiction, so it has a very special place in my heart.

    spike and dawn is such a wonderful relationship anyway, but this writer does a great job of fleshing out their pre and post season 5-6 relationship really well, with literally PERFECT characterisation and a wonderful interpretation of dawn’s inner thoughts and feelings. it reads like one of the best episodes of buffy - the writer has such a good grasp on the humour, tone and general voice of the show and characters.

    truly one of the best I’ve ever read! if you like spike, dawn, both, or even just the buffyverse in general, give it a try because holy shit is this an amazing read, I can’t even tell you how many times I tried to spam the kudos button lmao

    yeah not a lot of words tbh. i’m insane about this this is a hyperfixation separate even from my all-consuming MCR one it’s an entity of its own. it’s like the best movie i’ve ever watched except it’s gay band fanfiction which is so wild but I love it so fucking much read this fic NOW
