"How did you know I wasn't in London then?"
He hears him consider his answer, sighing guiltily, "I flew there and searched for you when I thought you were going to be there, when I couldn't find you I figured I'd call you on your bluff."
Sae sits up, heart picking up as he visualises Bunny chasing round a capital city looking for a mirage, "Where did you look for me?" He almost calls him a creep again, but it would be disingenuous to the giddiness he feels at the concept.
"Galleries mostly," he says and the chair whines again, "I've never met a thief who admires the paintings they're going to steal."
"You were."
Laughing softly, he says, "Kindred spirits."
OR-
Sae hates his job, spending his days stealing art for whoever pays the best. Maybe meeting the most infamous thief of the decade can change his mind. Or maybe not.
