Like he was in disbelief that Steve had remembered something he said. “Of course I did Eds.” Steve answered like it was the most natural thing in the world. Like he had a bank in his brain full of things Eddie had said. "Thank you.” Eddie’s smile was genuine. The same smile Gareth wiped off his face earlier that day.
