Summary
Jack grabbed Robby's arm and started to tug him back down the porch, but the boy undid the rest of the locks and opened the door all the way.
"I'd sure like it if you stayed," he said. "You need help, dontcha, Jack?"
Robby was pretty sure no one had said Jack's name in the conversation, but it was nearly midnight and they were exhausted. Jack looked between them curiously. There was a flash of silver in the boy's hand, a gun leaning against the door gripped in his thin fingers.
Robby and Jack looked at each other.
"We don't want to be a bother," Robby said, stepping back as he edged the shotgun into view.
The boy smiled like he didn't really know how. "Please. I want you to."
Robby looked into Jack's eyes in brief concession. They both reached a silent agreement.
"You're mighty kind," Jack said, walking back up the steps. Robby followed behind, but he watched Dennis's face as they walked in.- Language:

Summary
"Hey, again. Didn't know you were so…shy," Jack said, trying to sound friendly.
Dennis's teeth dug into his own bottom lip. "Maybe you just don't know me very well," he hummed, looking at the register instead of Jack.
Jack watched his face carefully. He saw the fidgety nerves he saw in the shoplifting high schoolers he usually got tasked with stopping at the doors of the various stores in town.
"Did I do something to upset you?" Jack asked, leaning down to talk to him.
"No, you didn't."
"Then why-"
Dennis put Jack's card in his hand. "Have a good day."

Summary
Daryl and Jesus had a spot. It was just west of Hilltop, hidden in trees and walker corpses. It wasn't anything spectacular, definitely not a mansion by any means.
Still, it was a cabin. One room. A fireplace. A stained mattress with cigarette scented sheets.
That was plenty good for them. -

Summary
There was a ghost in town, and Roy Harper knew it. He haunted the streets and the bars, walked in right before they closed, and stuck around until he was kicked out. He lingered on the edge of town, in cacti and wildness.
Nobody else seemed to notice him, and if they did, they didn't say anything about him. Roy himself never paid him too much mind, but he always silently took note of the shadow watching Star City.
That changed when the man himself waltzed into the bar the same night Roy had. He sat down one stool away from him at the bar, and he was wordlessly handed a glass full of something that smelled strong by the bartender.
Or, Roy and Jason go on a cattle drive together.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker is a weaselly, annoying, and gross little freak. Trinity believes she has made that opinion very clear. Unfortunately, she is also begrudgingly fond of the weirdo slinking around their apartment.
Her fondness is occasionally questioned by the following list of grievances.
