Summary
He moves his hands up Zedaph’s leg, pressing into the meat of his thigh. Soft plush under his hand, the skin dips much easier under his fingers. He has a strange desire to bite it.
And they speak softly. Tango asks easy questions about Zedaph’s day and the other answers with tangents and rambles. Tango truly just wants to hear him talk—hear about his day, hear the emotions in his voice, hear the way his breath hitches when Tango finds a particularly good spot. His hands never let up the movement, slowly rising higher and higher up the other’s leg.
And neither of them say it, but the later it gets in the night and the higher Tango’s hands rise and the softer Zedaph’s words get, the more they become aware that this may turn out to be a bit more than just getting rid of the soreness that had been plaguing Zedaph. When Zedaph’s skin feels so warm beneath his hand and Tango can almost hear his heart beat in his ears. There’s more. More than they dare to admit this late.

Tango laughed. It was, on the surface, a happy sound; however, there was something underlying it, a- coldness.
“This guy you’ve been sneaking out to meet! I mean, c’mon, three months and you haven’t even introduced us? What kind of boyfriend are you?”
“I mean, it’s not really like that-”
“Oh, I see… So is it like a friends with benefits thing then or-”
“Tango!” He cried, mortified, now fully facing him on the bed.
“-No! It’s not that.”
“Then what?" The man asked, "-What is it Zed? What is it that you’re so terrified of telling me?!”
