Summary
After Astoria died Draco was suddenly left as a single father and he had to get his shit together.
He learnt to cook, which was fine but then eventually he learnt to bake which was heavenly. He loved it and funnily enough he was actually pretty good at it. It gave him a new lease of life and he became obsessed.
When he realised that his sister-in-law (and pretty much his only friend) had entered him for a TV baking competition he’d never heard of, he went along with it, after all Astoria had told him to live his life to the full.
It never even crossed his mind that he might meet someone there, let alone the man of his dreams...Muggle AU, where all the characters are on The Great British Bake Off TV show in a modern day setting
...but it is so much more than just fluff and baking. It has a proper plot and it goes places... all the feels in this one I promise you! Give it a go!

“This is where you’ve been living?” Potter asked quietly.
And as if it were a paid actor, a rat appeared from one side of Draco’s living room, paused in the middle of the floor to look up at them, then disappeared through a hole in the opposite wall.
“Why?” Potter turned to him with wide eyes.
Draco shrugged. “Told you my family didn’t want me to join the Aurors. And it’s not that bad, I promise.”
On cue, the rat reappeared from the hole in the wall, and sprinted in the direction of Draco’s tiny bathroom.
“Right!” Weasley said loudly. “Well! That’s that decided then. I think you’re coming to live with us, mate.”
And that was how Draco ended up living at number twelve Grimmuald Place.

Draco and Harry were friends. That's all they were, and Draco needed to learn to be grateful for that fact, no matter how much he wanted to reach out and touch Harry at every opportunity.
