Based on a comment I wrote on Chapter 3 of Vrishchika's Short Prompts; basically, Lan Qiren is worried that Lan Wangji is abusing Wei Wuxian, and so invites Wei Wuxian to tea. This is what happens when Wei Wuxian gets home.

Now, Wei Ying still has trouble seeing his own intrinsic worth, but with his surprisingly uptight companion depending on him, he notes that the days seem to be passing a bit easier.
Surely nothing bigger is going on that would mess this up, right?… right???
