Another delightfully short-and-sweet fic, A Dream We Share managed to make me kick and scream and squeal like a little girl for the entirety of its 4k words. I can hardly gush about this fic without spoilers for the ending, but what an utterly charming surprise it was!

Purposeful Accident manages to toe the line between seat-gripping and sickeningly sweet for the entire 15k word ride. If you had seen me read this fic for the first time, you would have seen a person smile like an absolute maniac for about 30 minutes straight. The slow build of Scorpius and Albus' relationship over the course of the fic was wonderful to witness, and I especially loved Lily in this one. She's so under-utilised in fics that it's downright criminal!

Have you ever read a fic so sweet that it made your teeth ache? I don't even know where to start with this one; Sugar Dust is an endearing 20k word story from the perspective of Scorpius that never met Albus in Hogwarts - he was homeschooled. The meet cute between this adorably magnetic couple in a small town culminates in the most blindingly cute way. Sugar Dust is practically what the plot of a Scorbus romantic comedy film would be. Super cute!

But one day, he sees a pattern that no one else has--that no one wanted him to--and things change forever.

Let Go is hands-down the most impressive Scorbus fic ever written on AO3, if not the most impressive Scorbus fic PERIOD. The characterisation of each character, both major and minor, was so well-considered, impressive and realistic. Albus' constant internal monologuing was all at once: hilarious, heartbreaking, and real as fuck. The progression of Scorbus' eventual relationship, and their various trials and tribulations, were indescribably well-written. Every moment had me on the edge of my seat and/or kicking and screaming.

And that hardly begins to touch on the intricacies of the plot. From the very beginning of this 190k word fic, SebastianL crafts a web of details and clues that culminate in impressive reveals, and great emotional pay-off. To spoil anything would be a disservice to any future readers, so all I have to say is (if you haven't already read Let Go) is: READ IT!
