Summary
Brummer’s Battles and Brews in Cascarrafa was unlike any bar you had been to in Galar. There, they were mostly used for partying and drinking and not so much battling, which was honestly criminal as Pokemon themselves were such a big part of the world. You had spent the past three nights of your vacation at Brummer’s soaking in the atmosphere - and letting your beloved Pokemon stretch their legs for the first time since Gordy lost the rights to the Circhester Gym for the season.
You cheered as the older man and his skinny pink bird Pokemon easily took out the girl’s two animals with big ears holding hands Pokemon along with everyone else in the crowd, trying not to flinch as the girl immediately started crying as her friends had to lead her away from the battlefield.
“That’s a little embarrassing, isn’t it?”

You were starting to sweat from all the effort and your side was starting to cramp from the awkward angles you tried to contort yourself into in order to free yourself from them.
Your shoes.
Your amazingly perfect shoes that, as soon as you saw in the catalog, you immediately had to order. They were bright pink with a five inch heel and at least eight different buckles along each shoe. They were literally perfect and you never spared expense for a good pair of shoes that would give you the image you wanted.
But these? They were evil.

steve, robin, and a bucketload of unresolved tension walk into a bar (eddie and chrissy pine on the clock, gareth watches it unfold with minimal griping). everything stays unresolved until steve gets hit on, and eddie steps in as the world's best fake boyfriend <3
