Summary
Kim Seokjin loves acting. That's what they'll put in his obituary, probably, right after his family details, because that's the only thing that matters about him. That, and that he's gay, and that his temper snapped one time and ruined his entire career before it had a chance to be what he knows it could have become.
His last chance to prove himself comes in the form of a reality TV show, a Bachelor-style outing that will show he still has the softness to be a romantic lead. And it's embarrassing, and messy, and full of quirky guys and their weird habits and fame-seeking and secret agendas that he doesn't have the energy to deal with. But it's just a job, and Seokjin never turns down a chance when it's offered, and the biggest comfort of playing the starring role on Destined Hearts is that Seokjin knows his own heart will never be destined for anything but the screen.

Minho was gay — twice over, for boys and alphas — which shouldn’t have mattered, except that something in Jisung settled in Minho’s presence, made him want to rile him up and then dart away whenever Minho snapped, began to blossom low and sweet in his stomach like some kind of ugly flower.
Wrong and right, to be wanted in a way he wasn’t. But he liked Minho so much. Let Minho bring him drinks to class and call himself Jisung’s hyung in alpha-alpha register, and even that stung a little, the shape of the verb endings, but it was sweetened by the iced tea, made manageably bitter by the Americano in his hand. Minho was beautiful, in a porcelain sort of way, and smelled like young alpha, and let Jisung flirt with him and press his nose into Minho’s throat and call him alpha in as husky a voice as he could muster. Let Jisung stay, even as he wanted more than he could have, even as he knew Minho wouldn’t want him. Didn’t want him. Couldn’t.
Jisung asks Minho to stay with him for rut. Things unravel.
