As soon as Phainon stepped foot into the garden, his eyes immediately zeroed on Mydei sitting in the sea of bright flowers. His parents were beside him, quietly talking to each other.
Phainon’s breath hitched but before he could walk away and try another day, Beagle Coconut broke away from the mini chimera formation at Phainon’s legs with an excited shriek as soon as it spotted Fig Stew sleeping near Mydei. It barreled into the poor creature, talking a mile per minute and ignoring Fig Stew’s sleepy hissing and bristling fur. Beagle Coconut’s blue eyes sparkled like two little stars as it relayed everything that happened to it in the short time they were separated.
Phainon felt himself die a little inside. Was that how he acted when he was away from Mydei for a few days?
a strange curse had befallen the newly restored Amphoreus causing all of her people to wake up with breathing, living manifestations of their emotions. Phainon tries to deal with it the best way he can but it's hard, not only because he, for some reason, has three manifestations but also because now he has no choice but to face the true emotions of people closest to him. specifically... Mydei's.

“Well,” he sputtered. “What do you want me to think. There is your manifestation – one adorable Fig Stew, or so I thought – and then there are three of mine. Look at them,” he pointed to their manifestations with his free hand. Phainon’s chimeras were all cuddling up to Fig Stew – two on each side and another one curled around its round head. Each chimera was peppering kisses on Fig Stew’s soft fur as the red chimera basked in their attention, looking as if finally all was right in the world.
Considering that it was Mydei’s manifestation… Perhaps it was actually entitled to it, Phainon thought with a thoughtful twist to his lips. They were married in many cycles, after all. Poor thing probably felt neglected.

When it comes to predatory, soul-sucking gacha games, Cosmic Impact Rail Zero was probably the worst of the worst. Did it have incredible characters? Yes. An engaging storyline? Double yes. Did it make Mydei want to blow his entire paycheck on weapons and skins and more rolls? Of course it did.
But it also killed off basically every character in the game, including the crown prince that shared Mydei's name– Mydeimos the Undying, Son of Gorgo. How the hell was that even possible?! He literally had undying in his title!?
So when the developers ask for feedback, Mydei goes off on a heated tangent– and finds himself reincarnated as his namesake. You know– the doomed prince, destined for a life of hardship? Destined to die?
Not if Mydei has anything to say about it.
