    Summary

How good is it, this lie? For he is no spirit of the forest. He is no soldier, wounded and lifted high by noble deeds and bravery in battle. His hands are a soldier’s hands–his feet, those that carried braver men to their deaths. But he is no soldier.

(In which the Creature makes it back to the cabin before the wolves attack, saves his blind companion, and tentatively steps into a family.)

Gríma Wormtongue, fleeing the Siege of Isengard and banished from Rohan, heads for Mordor. He gets taken prisoner by Faramir, Captain of Ithilien. Faramir suspects something is afoot, but doesn't know how deep Gríma's crimes go.

After the war is over and everything is settled, Gríma escapes from the dungeons of Minas Tirith. He is promptly recaptured and confesses every crime he's committed against Rohan, Gondor, and Éowyn in particular. Faramir may or may not have Big Feelings about this.

(He beats the shit out of Gríma)

    Summary

Faramir, wounded during the Reclamation of Osgiliath, has enough time on his hands to start unpacking the complicated story of his boyhood. Luckily, Éowyn is there to help.

Tells the story of Faramir at the ages of five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, thirty, and thirty-five, followed by a conversation with Éowyn in the Houses of Healing. Companion piece to 'Give Me Back My Girlhood', which is the same set-up, just Éowyn-centric.

    Summary

There are a lot of security cameras. Usually that means very bad things, especially for secret human spies and their murderbot accomplices. Was I an accomplice? I planned the whole thing. Maybe the mastermind would be better. I knew Gurathin would take issue with that—because that made him the accomplice to a terrifying murderbot, rather than the one in control, and I knew how much it annoyed Gurathin 1. not to be in control, and 2. admit that I was right.

Or: Murderbot, Gurathin, a heist, and some (probably) (definitely) ill-advised kissing.
