Summary
When Buck opened the door (because Eddie forgot his keys like a dumbass who had a long, a bit tiring shift), his first thought was, Funny, our favorite delivery guy was the last person to ever see the straight me. His second thought was, What the fuck.

Summary
Hovering his thumb over the link, Ravi hesitates for just a moment. Fandom is sacred to some people. It saves lives, even if "normal people" refuse to admit it. Suddenly, Ravi feels like he's overstepping boundaries, because fan-fiction is apart of some people's identities. You learn of a character and relate or love them so much, they gain a part of your soul. Like Ravi with Spider-Man. Like Christopher with Super-Man. Like Buck with…whoever he wrote or read about.
It could simply just be a reader account, Ravi thinks. Maybe all that typing was a comment gushing about how well someone did? And even if it was a writing account, all Ravi would do is look at it. Right?
Right.
Ravi finds Buck's private AO3 account, where Buck writes fan-fiction about Eddie being in love with him. He decides to do something about it.

Summary
Someone exclaims in the background, but Buck’s voice cuts through louder when he asks, “You… you want to borrow my…?”
“Flashlight,” Eddie supplies with patient emphasis. It is not, strictly speaking, a leap of faith to assume Buck of all people would have one, but he did move recently, so— who knows what’s still lost in Packed Box Limbo. “Please tell me you have one I can use.”
“I…” there’s a lengthy pause on the other end, Buck’s voice weak and tapering off at the end. “Y-Yeah, okay.”
Or: Eddie just needs to borrow some tools. Fleshlight, flashlight, what’s the difference? The distinction has never been more illuminating.

Summary
Buck’s hair is gray at the temples, buzzed neatly on the sides and a bit longer and curlier on top than Chris remembers him wearing it, and there’s a new scar through one of his eyebrows. He looks good, like he’s living a happy life, and the only possible reason Chris can imagine for Buck to be here at Helena Diaz’s funeral in El Paso is that Chris’s father brought him.
“Why would you come?” Chris snaps at him.
Buck blinks. “Why wouldn’t I come?”
“She didn’t mean anything to you.”
“I’m not here for her,” Buck scoffs. “She is dead. I’m here for him.”
or
Chris is forced to grapple with the choice he made eleven years ago when his father comes back for Helena’s funeral.

Summary
“What—”
Buck cuts his own words off with another shuddering gasp as Eddie suddenly pulls him in. He’s compelled to allow Eddie to guide him, complete putty under his control. There’s nowhere else he’d rather be.
“Weirdo,” is all he hears Eddie mutter fondly under his breath before his lips meet Buck’s.
It lasts a split second, way too short for Buck to even count the milliseconds, but somehow still, it’s life-changing. A short pressing of lips, breaths exchanged through mouths, and the feeling of knowing this is it. Buck’s ruined for anyone else forever now. No other lips will ever hold a crown to Eddie’s chapped and tequila-tainted ones.
OR: Eddie drunk-kisses Buck twice, and throws up three times.
