“You will. But not yet. Just…” Another sigh. “Keep your head down. It'll be easier for all of us.”
“Easier?” He can hear how his voice pitches up. “You're going to keep me here against my will, and I'm just supposed to– You kidnapped me!”
The sharp guy in the corner bristles. “Accidentally.”
Soobin’s breath punches out of his chest in an incredulous laugh.
Or; Soobin sees something he shouldn't and becomes the unwilling passenger on a smuggling run, stuck with a crew that distrusts him and promises to let him go home eventually.
But eventually turns out to be long enough to change too much.

Summary
Taehyun has always held Yeonjun in a different light. In his heart, he carved a space for him before he even knew the walls were down. Bright-eyed teenager being taken under the wing of one who possessed everything he wanted to be, who soon turned into everything he wanted to cherish.
Taehyun will always seek out Yeonjun in every way possible.
And that's the problem, isn't it? In every way, Taehyun will seek Yeonjun. Through words, through time, through touch. But Yeonjun isn't like that, not with Taehyun. Taehyun knows Yeonjun loves him with every word, with every kind gesture, with every moment spent in his presence, there is love.
But he yearns for the warmth of skin against skin and a beating heart of the other pressed against his ear. He yearns for something tangible, and it's selfish, so selfish. But when has he not been selfish about Yeonjun?

Goosebumps erupt on his skin. That shouldn't sound as erotic, or make him feel as salacious as it does. Soobin is sick, utterly perturbed.
"Well, do you want to lay a hand on me now?"
In an attempt to forget about the unrequited feelings for his close friend, Soobin sleeps somebody else in their friend group—the person he would least want to be intimate with, but it happens anyway.

Soobin and Beomgyu are indecisive when it comes to deciding just about anything in their relationship, whether it be picking where their first date would be, or—what they claim only makes sense—flipping a coin to decide who will be the bottom for the first time they have sex together. And so, they do just that. Flipping a coin. Soobin wins, or loses. He's still figuring out whether it's a win or not.

Summary
Taehyun has always been way too rational and very respectful of Soobin's boundaries. That doesn't mean he's not allowed to be jealous or bothered. Except, Soobin's boyfriend rarely gets jealous, is hardly ever concerned or fazed with what Soobin does, and it's causing insecurities to arise. Now here comes a new next door neighbor, giving Soobin the perfect chance to test Taehyun's limits.
Or, Soobin doesn't feel seen. Yeonjun supplies some mischievous (harmless) support!
