Summary
Aoi Kiryuin. Rookie Trainer at Tracen Academy, bursting with boundless potential. Together with the teachings of the Kiryuin manual, there is nothing Aoi can't conquer in the world of umamusume, from designing just the right training regimen for her trainee, to maintaining proper emotional connections with said trainee. Not even the bizarre and mystical happenings at Tracen can deter her from her dreams. Her promise is clear: she will ensure Happy Meek will succeed and excel in the Twinkle Series and beyond. But unfortunately, there is something that it can't help with. Something Aoi has had to figure out on her own throughout the years to little avail, and may never have peace with.
There is no section in the Kiryuin manual on how to cope with the crippling reality of not being an umamusume.

You settle for the next best thing, you put in the work, time, energy, tears, and late nights pouring over textbooks, studying in a frantic last minute study session before your final exam. You finish your exam, graduate and get a fancy little badge signifying you as a trainer. At least this way, you can be close to your dream of racing and of running on the turf like all your idols growing up. However, the gnawing hunger will never be sated. Your life is a constant reminder of what it could have been, or rather, what it should have been.
