Harrison is the eldest. Protecting Mione and Ron is his responsibility—by any means necessary. The Silver Lady promised they’d be safe here, in this house heavy with sorrow and strained magic, but Harrison isn’t sure he believes it. Mione, ever perceptive, insists she can sense bad people, declaring, "they look wrong, scary." She assures him, this man is not scary. Ron says he feels safe. The place reminds him of candy floss and carries the Silver Lady’s scent. She’s never harmed them before.
So perhaps his siblings are right.
