Suddenly it’s too much, too soon. This is evisceration, and it hurts more than he thought it might. It feels fucking stupid. Several hours of today wasted in agony, and somehow the part involving the metaphorical heart is a thousand times worse than the body’s theatrics.

Johnny stops and makes a questioning noise. He sits back on his heels to see what Jaehyun is talking about. The red material ends up in his hands and Jaehyun crouches down next to him. It's a spiderman mask.
Jaehyun furrows his eyebrows. What could Mark have that for? There's no way—
"Mark is Spiderman?"
Alternatively: Jaehyun accidentally discovers a secret he can only deny for so long before he has to face it as truth. The thing about secrets though, is that some create rifts, and others expose the rifts that are already there.

He pulled on the tiny shorts she’d forced on him, though that did zero good at all. She’d even found a thong for him, the straps which she’d pulled up over his hips and above the shorts; he tucked them down again self-consciously, even if it was now less fabric covering his body.
“Seriously, I don’t get why you have such a complex about yourself, Mako,” Gou said as she slipped off her bed and sidled up to her best friend. “Your body is gorgeous.”
Makoto pressed nervously at his thick glasses and coughed awkwardly. She reached up and clicked her tongue.
“I know you have contacts.”
