They think it’s adorable — a rookie looking up to his more experienced teammate, a mentor even — and Kimi feels an ache tightening in his ribs when he can’t brush the strand of loose hair off the older man’s forehead, the one that lies there waiting for his hand to reach out and gently tuck it away.
