Summary
“This is Harry James Potter,” Dumbledore said gravely, “the genuine Boy-Who-Lived.”
There’s only one thing to do, thought Harry.
We need to kill him.

Summary
Everything has gone wrong since the stupid sorting hat had resorted Harry in the Chamber of Secrets to give Harry control of the stupid basalisk, and refused to sort him back.
Harry is sick of it.
His world is falling apart around him, and he has been stuck trying to cope with the changes alone, since he's been too much of a coward to tell his friends that he is no longer one of them.
Between accidental magic, Uncle Vernon's fists, a mass murder out to kill him, soul-sucking demon-creatures, and his own looming cowardice, what more could possibly go wrong?
Oh yeah... having to rely on Snape to protect him, coping with his new house-mates hating his guts, and dealing with the ramifications of having a possible psychotic break. Or psychotic unification. Or whatever it is giving Harry knowledge that he definitely shouldn't have.
And Arithmancy. Because apparently Snape is convinced Harry only chose Divination to get out of doing actual work.
Fucking Hell.
T/W: Opening chapter contains depictions of and reference to physical child abuse.

Summary
Harry had always been strange, as the Dursleys delighted in telling him. His hair was too wild, his eyes too green, his ears too sharp. Until he looked in the Mirror of Erised, he'd never seen anyone who looked like him. And then he fell through it, and found a whole world of things he'd never seen, and people who would not accept that he didn't belong in it.

"You were born into a turbulent time, and brought that turbulence with you too, and lived within it, and caused it, an eternal cycle. A harbinger of changing days, that’s what a cast like this means. The axis on which the world will turn.” - Theodore Nott.
