“Tweek,” Craig says the name he has scarcely allowed himself to even think since the day the boy took his last breath in the bed alongside him. The imp nods solemnly, but the hitch of a smile never leaves its sweet face. Long lashes flutter across the apples of rosy cheeks.
“Oh yes,” Tweek agrees. “Of course that’s who I am.”
After witnessing his first love die, the young Father Tucker summons himself a demon and is saved.

Craig immediately knows this whole fucking mission is going to be an issue.
And not because his alpha immediately reacts to the omega in front of him. Wants him. Nearly sets every atom within Craig on edge the moment he steps into the same room as him.
But because this omega — Wonder Tweek, apparently — already has a claiming mark.
It sits on his neck, imitating a crescent moon. Faded in a way that Craig knows means age has set into it. He’s been with his mate for a while now, if the mark is any indicator.
He makes eye contact with Craig briefly and rubs at it nervously. Darts his eyes away as his cheeks flush the prettiest shade of pink.
And Craig knows it then, when his alpha doesn’t back down at seeing the claiming mark. He is well and truly fucked.

"Shhh!" Craig said, covering the blond boy's mouth. "Don't say that word! We can't let the other kids know."
"Why not?" the other boy said when Craig uncovered his mouth, biting down on his pink lower lip. Craig could kick himself for even focusing on such a thing.
”I can't be soulmates with a boy!" he hissed. "The guys would never let me live that down. This has to be one big cosmic joke because I'm not even gay!"
Craig felt the sharp pain of hurt through their bond, but he could easily read it on his face. It makes him feel like a dick, which he supposed maybe he was.
"Besides," he added. "I don't even want a soulmate, so just do us both a favor and leave me alone."When Craig Tucker first meets his soulmate, he is 13 years old. He doesn't handle it well.

School is not a Craig place to be. Craig places to be include the inside of the coffee shop and the drive-thru, and nowhere else, because that’s the routine. That’s where Craig is supposed to exist. He’s supposed to not be a real person with his own life doing his own things and showing up around campus at the university Tweek logically knew they both go to. He was counting on Craig being an occasional side character he could sigh wistfully about and then go back to normal, real life, not someone who does unpredictable things like accidentally sign up for the same gen-ed!
It’s probably a miracle he didn’t see him outside the shop sooner. Or literally run into him, like out of nowhere on a sidewalk. Scary.
