As the years went by, the impulse to obsess over the inescapable sight of Yibo’s face on every LED board in China began to fade in importance. He’d tried to let go of the need to dissect Wang Yibo’s every move; he thought he’d succeeded. He didn’t think of Wang Yibo, and didn't think of Wang Yibo, and the years went by, and he retreated into his quiet circle of friends and acquaintances, into the welcoming arms of the stage and the oblivion of finding roles as unlike himself as possible.
He grew older, and tireder, and he did not think about Wang Yibo.

Summary
The apocalypse is over, and Dean has Sam back, safe and sound. All should be well with his world, but Dean's still coping with the emotional fallout and feeling more than a little off-balance, Meanwhile, Sam is convinced there's a monster living in Lake Superior but they can't seem to find it, although there's plenty of good pie and fishing trips to be had. Plus there's Castiel, who pops back into Dean's life, and gets way into Dean's personal space. He's dealing with his own issues -- being the new sheriff of heaven isn't turning out quite the way he thought it would.

DEAN snorts indelicately. "What, you? You're a pussycat."
"Remember that when I'm a dark stain on your pretty Embassy rug," the demon sniffs.
"I would not leave a stain," Castiel promises, once again, very reasonably.

I wouldn't think a pure kinkfic for this pairing would be right up my alley, but Cas's voice and Dean's pov are both so believable here that it's easy to go with it. Also it's hot!

With entangled_now ’s kind permission, I’ve taken a short respite from ‘Wings of War’ (though yes, there will be an update on that tomorrow) to write a sequel to her brilliant piece, Mi Casa. Go read that first, because otherwise this won't make sense, and also it is excellent. Hope I did it justice, at least somewhat!
