Tigris attempts to pick up the pieces from their shattered life as the Grandma'am continues to live in denial and confusion with her mind deteriorating rapidly, as she keeps asking Tigris over and again, "When will Coriolanus be coming home?"
Tigris wishes she knew the answer to that question...

This is a companion fic for "You're A Good Man, Coriolanus Snow" showing what happens with Tigris after Coriolanus deserted the Peacekeepers and ran away into the wilderness with Lucy Gray and the rest of the Covey.

AU - Where Coriolanus Snow makes DIFFERENT choices...and those choices lead to a different future in Panem.
An alternate ending to The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes - if Coriolanus Snow and Lucy Gray had run away into the woods together...
Starts at the point in TBOSAS when Lucy Grey asks Coriolanus, "Who's the third?" - and he tells the truth.
I wanted to explore the question that if Coriolanus Snow could change, what would that look like? In TBOSAS, he's always struggling morally with himself on what's "good/kind/selfless" or "ambitious/reputation/power". So I started a story about it.
Very heavy focus on the psychological aspects of who he was in the Capitol, his internal struggles within himself, and how Lucy Gray Baird softens a hard-grown Capitol Boy.
COMPLETE - I have the first draft of this story done, but I'm still editing and polishing up each chapter before posting it...
