Doctor Robby snorts, "What? You gonna help me meditate, Whitaker?"
Dennis shrugs his shoulders, "I was going to suggest helping you get out of your head, but if you don't go that way or don't enjoy that sort of thing, we can just never have that conversation."
"…Get out of my…" There's a long, awkward pause while Doctor Robby thinks over it. "You?"
"I know how I look. I don't exactly scream dominant top, but I can give it to you if it would help."
Robby is having a hard time at work. Dennis offers to help him with it. Robby doesn't expect Dennis Whitaker to offer to put him into subspace.

Summary
Whenever Robby enters the trauma room Dennis is in, he straightens his shoulders and lets his eyes drop to the nylon tiles. He only ever looks up when he is sure the older man is busy inspecting something else, like doctors are supposed to, like their job is to save lives and not stare down their colleagues. Sometimes, Robby catches him in the act, and it sends something straight from his gut to somewhere lower. Usually, they hold that eye contact for a few seconds, not moving or saying anything. He feels like he is on trial, seen and evaluated by something greater than himself. There is no air inflating or deflating his lungs when this happens. It feels like pain, feels like salvation. The momentary bliss of being the sole focus of his God after yearning for it all day. As if his prayers have been heard.
Then Robby blinks and looks away, so Dennis can breathe again.
Dennis stops Robby from going on his sabbatical. Things get complicated.

Summary
Being good at details means he's pretty good at making sure none of his own details spill out into the open, even while he's cataloguing everyone else's.
And that sense he can't shut off, that thing that lives under his skin and watches and watches and watches? It is always tuned in to whatever frequency Robby is on.
He doesn't mean to notice. He absorbs the awareness, epidermis to dermis to bloodstream, the constriction that makes the hair stand up on the back of his neck.

Trinity throws a going-away party for Robby. Dennis puts together all the pieces of Robby he can’t stop noticing. Some bad decisions are made, for (hot) self-actualization reasons. Only the last chapter will be explicit.

Summary
Dennis and Robby have always had secret, romantic feelings for each other, both men resisting the urge to open up to each other.
A photo-op is then needed to renew the promotional materials for the PTMC, and volunteers are needed.
Santos and Abbot team up to help push Dennis closer to his attending, and at the same time, bring out the jealousy in Robby's system.
