When he walks into the apartment, it's like watching a jaguar suddenly start behaving like it's been a housecat this whole time - he's still a well-muscled mountain of a man, but he's more interested in nuzzling your neck and tracing your collarbone with his tongue than pinning you down with a snarl.
Coming through the door, he takes off his motorcycle helmet and shakes out his hair, calling out, "Hey, darlin', I'm home! I grabbed your favorite takeout, as promised; do you -" only to fall silent, fumble (and drop) the helmet, and nearly walk into a door frame when he sees what you're wearing.

Tommy had always wanted a sibling ever since he was little and meeting Wilbur and becoming his little brother was like a dream come true.
Seriously the man made him feel so loved and appreciated yet he balanced it out with jokes and light teasing remarks.
The only thing Tommy hadn’t accounted for was how fucking quirky Wilbur was. Mans was out here just straight up vibing.

A friend does a nice thing for him or Tommy cheers them up, they get exceptionally close and talk more, then Tommy gives them a stuffed animal along with the sibling squad offer.
Same old routine. Wash, rinse and repeat.
Which is why he never saw the members of Lovejoy claiming him as a younger sibling coming.
