Summary
It’s a surprise when a Federation Starfleet officer turns up in the Dominion prison camp that has, to date, mostly contained Cardassian and Romulan intelligence operatives. Everyone knows what they say about Federation types, and about humans in particular. Martok has laughed along with all the usual jokes and never once expected it to become… relevant.
Maybe all that Starfleet ingenuity and, well, ““creativity””, could be focused on solving the problem of how to get laid when you’re surrounded by enemies and can’t afford the normal, wholesome injuries that are an inevitable by-product of healthy, respectable Klingon sex.

Summary
At the tail end of the Federation-Cardassian Wars, the Obsidian Order agent Garak is captured by Section 31 during a mission on Romulus. Their director offers Garak a chance to continue working to destabilise the Romulans – a mutually beneficial arrangement for both Cardassia and the Federation, wouldn’t you agree? And a far better option than rotting away in a cell for the rest of the war.
The recruitment spiel is interrupted by an excitable junior science lieutenant babbling about how he just needs a few more super-heating plasma coils for his project, he only blew the lab up once, and the results are really, really going to be worth it, he promises. There is definitely something off about him, and he clearly doesn’t understand that he’s interrupting a highly delicate… interview.
He is also the most beautiful human that Garak has ever seen.

Summary
Tekeny Ghemor is dead and Kira doesn’t regret attending his shri-tal and his final moments, despite everything. She’s nursing a drink at Quark’s when Ziyal decides that now is a good time to continue her increasingly clumsy and aggressive attempts at flirting.
Kira’s gaze flicks between the crest on her head, the ridges on her nose. The pattern refuses to resolve itself. Cardassian. Bajoran. Cardassian. Both. Crest. Ridges. Kira accepts the offer of some ‘comfort’ and not once does her gaze come to rest between to meet Ziyal’s eyes.

Summary
Really, the conflict starts when Julian gets back from his second involuntary trip to the mirror universe. It was a perfectly reasonable decision to help that universe’s Garak gain political asylum in Julian’s universe. He’d helped him escape… broadly. Well, it was more self-interest than altruism, but everyone deserved a chance to better themselves and staying in his own universe would likely have gotten him killed. Definitely Julian’s being objective and his intimate relationship with his universe’s Garak isn’t influencing his decisions at all.
The only thing that stops the two Garaks from killing one another when they first meet is the fact that Julian is literally standing between them and refuses to back down. The Garaks share three things: mutual distrust, the same taste in stubborn and hopelessly optimistic doctors, and an unshakeable conviction that they are in fact the same person.

Summary
It occurred to Connor earlier that Hank might be interested in having sex with him. Technically he doesn't know whether that's even something he can manage, but he can certainly try.
He just needs to proposition Hank, first.
((aka connor is very indelicate about asking hank about sex and neither of them know what the hell they're doing but it works out))

Summary
Hank gave in to the urge to bury his face in his hands. This was just… Fuck, he was too innocent looking. Those wide eyes, the soft looking lips. He stared at Hank like he hung the sun and stars, and here Hank was, projecting. Again.
Something brushed his shoulder and Hank couldn’t help but jump. He flinched away and moved his hands, but it was just Connor. It was always just Connor, standing a little too close, probing when Hank was at his worst. Standing at his side with worry in his eyes, staring up at him, and… Fuck.
He was too old for this. He was too old and broken and fucked up to deserve this, but Connor made it too easy to want it anyway.
