“Only if I’m with you," Kirara says. Her forehead burns where his mouth was. She wants him to kiss her again. She wants him to kiss her mouth, see if they fit together like puzzle pieces, if their lips lock as gently as their hands do. “I’m good if I’m with you.”
“Kirara,” he frowns, his hands clench on her waist, “you need to–”
“No," she cuts him off. She settles herself firmly on her feet, keeps her eyes on his face. “Don’t you fucking dare tell me what I need to do, Kin. Not you.”
He looks at her.
She doesn’t lower her gaze. He has been part of teaching her to be brave, yes, but she has taught herself. She relied on herself before she met Kinji and she knows what her gut says. She knows where she needs to be. Where she wants to be. She stands firmly on her own two feet. She looks at him, meets his gaze head on.
“I’m going with you," she says, no room for argument.

The noise Suguru makes is strangled. He looks away for some reason, the tips of his ears burning red-hot, and like -
Okay, so maybe Satoru could have worded that a little differently.
Maybe he hasn’t used the right phrase here!
“I mean, don’t hold back on my account,” he says, trying again and somehow making it even worse. “Like, touch me however you want to touch me. Do whatever you would’ve done in high school, or whatever; like, wrap me up in your arms and hold me closer, tiny dancer, and fuck, I am not making this better, am I?”
“You’re really fucking not,” Suguru agrees.
Satoru Gojo isn't looking for love when he goes to his first Pride at the ripe old age of twenty-eight.

Summary
Kaoru Sakurayashiki had never imagined himself with a family. His own parents had been stuffy, with high expectations and strict punishments whenever he didn't meet them. While he was sure he'd make an effort not to turn out like them, one could never be too sure.
There was also the issue of there being nobody worth having a family with. Kaoru entertained the occasional relationship, but most never even reached the point of him calling them his "partner", let alone broaching talks of marriage or family.
The thought of having kids of his own never even really crossed his mind.
That is, until a flock of them made themselves known at S, and suddenly he was offering sage, adult advice, chaperoning trips, and had even earned himself the nickname 'mama', much to his chagrin. And of course, when Kaoru became 'mama', so in turn did Kojiro become 'papa'.
Honorary mama and papa of S become actual parents when Kaoru gets pregnant. The ticking time bomb of a baby on the way forces them to figure their shit out in a timely manner, even if they've done everything out of order.
