Summary
Alhaitham doesn't hear Kaveh talking about his mother a lot, and, when one day Kaveh receives a letter from Fontaine, he almost wishes that this accepted order of things would stay the same. Because now he's facing several issues:
1. Kaveh’s mother wanted to visit Sumeru City;
2. She would be staying in his house;
3. He would have to pose as Kaveh's boyfriend for the entirety of her stay?!Meant there was something to the method Kaveh was using today, when he needed to spill a bunch of information his body likely resisted giving. Alhaitham chugged down his wine, and, before the burning sensation in his body could disappear, produced:
“Yes. Sticking with plan A.”
Now it was Kaveh’s turn to question his sanity. Alhaitham would have been satisfied by that look on his face had he not been actively processing what he just signed up for.
