    Jamie Siu has been at Metro High for less than two weeks and has already managed to offend half the school.
    He hates teenagers. He hates being called Rapunzel. He hates his father who thinks every problem can be solved with money. And he especially hates Luke Sullivan — the annoyingly earnest boy who keeps trying to “help.”
    Luke, meanwhile, accepts financial support from Jamie’s father at the moment he needs money the most, with the least simple price: To be Jamie’s friend.
    A fair trade. Friendship included. What could possibly go wrong?
    Only… lies have a way of growing into bigger lies, misunderstandings into destiny, and time, war, technology, and love may carry two young men much farther than either of them ever intended.
