Yuji jolts, leans over to stare with wide eyes at Megumi. “An alien?”

“From space?”
“Yeah.”
“Is it green?”
“What? No.” Megumi pinches Yuji’s arm. “I’m being serious!"
Or, even from outer space Satoru will adopt those kids. The alien AU only I needed.

There was, however, light coming from under the door to the bathroom. That was odd.
He opened the door and Megumi’s small body jumped. He was so startled that he dropped what he was holding.
A tube of half-opened lip gloss rolled across the white tile floor. It rolled until it hit Gojo’s socked foot.
He couldn’t help the deep feeling that how Megumi looked at him in this moment was how he must have looked to his mother.
“Aren’t you gonna welcome me home?”
Alternative Summary: Gojo comes home from a mission to find another job at home. He's got something very important to teach Megumi that has nothing to do with cursed spirits and everything to do with being loved.
