Post S6-E6, some time after the vardo burns and the ashes are collected from Dr Holford's estate.
Charlie watched his baby sister's vardo burn to the ground. He watched while strangers raked her ashes clean of melted gold and various things and returned those ashes in a porcelain urn for interment next to his mother. His father's ashes are not nearly so clean.

Lizzie couldn’t process it for a moment—just blinked and…
And then her sense of exhaustion doubled. A headache threatened imminently. Hadn’t had them until she married Tommy... like they were fucking contagious. “Tommy… Tommy, sweetheart… there’s X-rays,” she reminded him, trying not to sound too condescending… he hated that.

It was Sam's hands that pulled Adam into the cage with him, and Sam's hands that yanked him out of the cage too. And drove them with no purpose, a continuous drive that hardly stopped. Keeping Adam trapped in an enclosed space stuck with Sam's voice and hands. Stuck with a want that coiled hotter than Hell itself. He needed space before he snapped and ruined everything.
