They play against each other occasionally, the only times they've crossed paths since Bunny transferred, but he's never been here outside of scheduled games or appearances. Something sick swirls in Sae's gut, and he cusses under his breath, knowing that he won't be going back to sleep.
It takes everything in him not to text back. It's stupid, really, the way Sae is sitting on his bed, nothing but his boxers on as he stares at the once more opened string of messages with the twist of a fucking pout on his face.
Alternatively, they both suck at feelings but figure it out, for a hopeful future for both of them. Together.

Ten years ago, I wrote a fic called "the time traveler's boyfriend." Last month, I decided to rewrite that fic. The premise is the same—Shion is a time traveler who can't control to what year he time travels, nor for how long he stays, but in no matter what time he finds himself, Nezumi is beside him.
The plot of this fic is very different from that old fic, which is still on my AO3 account even though I dislike a lot of things about it because I know it's a crowd favorite (though I may end up spontaneously deleting it...). Regardless, I hope you guys like this one!
a note: COVID does not exist in this fic because I simply didn't want to deal with it.

He’s not dense— he knows what this would be if this were anyone else, if this were a cute girl he’d picked up at a bar that he’d wined and dined and cuddled with all night on the couch. He’d wake her with a kiss and see where things take them, if this were some girl.
But it’s Judy, and Nick’s just happy she’s here, so he doesn’t wake her at all.
(Nick thinks he's writing down observations about the most interesting mammal in his life. What he's really doing is falling head over tail in love.
And he's going to be annoying about it, because he's a bastard.)

Bunny Iglesias had never felt so glad to have neither, for he wanted Sae more than he wanted to stay alive.
Or, alternatively: Bunny corners Sae in an empty locker room during the U-20 World Cup, intent on setting unfinished business straight between them. Things go the way they should and shouldn’t, all at the same time.

Shidou moaned, slowing his hips to a leisurely pace as he continued his assault on Rin’s unclaimed neck. “Gunna mark you up,” Shidou promised sultrily, “everyone’s gunna see that their number one Itoshi Rin is someone's bitch.” Shidou, surprised by the way his words elicited a loud, unabashed moan from Rin, laughed, "Fuuuuck, you like that? That’s so dirty, Rin.”
"Stop talking", Rin snapped, it was in no way a beg or a plea but it sure as hell sounded like one.
