Summary
They say that people with good memories seldom remember anything worth remembering, and Peter figures that must be true. He can't remember the first sixteen years of his life, and always forgets where he put his keys. People with bad memories must remember everything worth remembering, and he knows that if anything is worth remembering, it's her.
Sometimes, when he's lying awake and can't sleep, Peter remembers things.

Summary
Melinda Gordon's junior year at Rockland University is going about as well as could be expected. As if the overwhelming amount of coursework, maintaining what precious few friendships she had, and getting broken up with by her first love wasn't hard enough, she also has to deal with a constant barrage of ghosts seeking her help. Used to taking care of things on her own, it's hard to admit when she needs help. And even harder still finding someone able to help her with the spirits who can't seem to say what they mean. That is, until she's pointed in the direction of an Anthropology Grad student who just might be able to help her find what she's been looking for– for the ghosts, of course. What else was there that she needed?
